History

Lime-Pozzolans have been used successfully in building projects for more than 3,000 years. The Romans mastered the placement of Lime-Pozzolan materials when they built the Pantheon 1800 years ago. Caesars Stucco is not a new material to human building. It is a new product in the form of a dry Lime Hydrate and Pozzolans that, when mixed with sand and combined with water, creates a cement reaction. During curing it pulls CO2 out of the air and turns into limestone over time.

Product Desription

Caesars Stucco is a unique blend of Hydrated Calcium Hydroxide (Lime) and Pozzolans. The Lime-Pozzolan material creates a cementitious set, similar to NHL, but maintains a greater workability and all the benefits associated with Lime stuccos.

Environmental Benefits

Lime products have an amazing ability to pull CO2 out of the air as it turns back into Calcium Carbonate: limestone. This process is called the Lime cycle. Lime takes less energy to make than Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) and Lime will pull CO2 out of the air that was released in the burning process. OPC is unable to do this because the high burning temperature creates a product that is referred to as "dead".
