Caesars Stucco Seminars & Workshops
In the past decade many builders have taken another look at lime as a building material. Lime has been used for millennia, but in the 1800's it was replaced by portland cement as the main binding material in construction.
When installed properly, lime stuccos can last for hundreds of years and require little or no maintenance. To ensure proper placement and protection of lime stuccos, and satisfied clients applicators should have training to understand the material and how it works.
The lime section of this training seminar is designed to expand your knowledge of what it takes to successfully install lime stucco. Topics include: Sand gradation and particle size and how they can effect stucco strength; what a Balance Mix is; mixing, applying and compressing finish coat lime plasters and applying colored limewash. This is a hands-on workshop, and participants must bring protective equipment for eyes, hands, and body, a hawk and trowel; and a desire to learn.
"Smooth" is not normally a word that an applicator would use to describe stucco application. However using "Caesars Stucco", the installer can be confident that at the end of their project, their arm won't fall off.
By using minimal amounts of water, the combination of pozzolans and recycled glass aggregate create the perfect mix for success, whether it be on block structures or stick frames. Offering 4 varying degrees of lime, Caesars Stucco is sure to meet your constructive needs.
